If you have paid your maintenance fees during the pandemic but were unable to use your timeshare then you could be eligible to claim money back.
The Timeshare Consumer Association (TCA), conducted a maintenance fee survey and based on over 1400 surveyed timeshare owners, they have confirmed that in all but 3 cases no refund of maintenance fees has been offered by their respective timeshare resort or management group.
BBC Radio 4 reported on these findings and a spokesperson from the European Consumer Centre confirmed that owners should be entitled refunds and may have legal recourse to claim their fees back.
